Andrew Dice Clay-We need to stay united
Comedian provocateur Andrew Dice Clay let President Donald Trump know that being POTUS is no joke.
During an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the comedian told host Stephen Colbert that he has known Trump for a long time and he believes Trump “stole my whole act to become president.” Colbert laughed and said, “A little bit.”
Dice Clay went on to say that Trump needs to realize that the president’s job is no joke and Trump needs to focus on making sure the country is safe for all those who are here and those who come here.
Dice Clay told Colbert, “And when you’re the president of these United States, I have to agree we need to stay united. And you know, somebody has to own up and this is the greatest country in the world. And when you have, you know, the opportunity to go out and live your dream that’s an incredible thing and everybody should be allowed to do it and it should be safe in the streets, and I completely agree what you were talking about.”
Earlier during the show, Colbert cracked on Trump for his unwillingness to reject the praises of the likes of a human like David Duke, while all the while loving “the furor” he (Trump) “caused by channeling the fuhrer.”
